2006 RCA project Sketch
This is the outcome of the first electronics workshop, a week of intense exploration of the wonderful world of electronics. Playing with sound and experimenting with ways in which language-like, random noises can be generated gave birth to this device. The louder you speak, the more agitated the device will become, resulting in it taking over your voice and overruling your speech.

GenSupport is a service for a future charity-scenario. It allows you to create real, genetical family relationships as an extension to child development charities. First, you choose an orphan out of a global catalogue of orphans. Secondly, you donate your genetic material to be implemented in your orphan. This implementation involves minor treatment. As the genetic material is passed on, the orphan will inherit physical characteristics, the eyes, from it's supporting parents, to emphasise on the family relationship.
2006 Fabrique Concept Interior project
building of the barKPN, the former Dutch national phone company, has recently started operating in new domains; now covering telephone, internet and television. Through these three media, they wanted to launch a music-service called MusicStream. To embody and communicate, MusicStream had his physical home base in the Heineken Music Hall, a big concert hall in Amsterdam. At Fabrique, we developed the whole concept of interaction between visitors and the music service: from the way they can buy, the way they take it home to how they experience the space. After that, we designed the interior consisting of a bar, stairs, a stage and several other objects in the 100m long space. Currently, the bar and stage are being build and later this year the stairs will follow.

UGS makes software. Software that transforms the process of innovation. From process management software to 3D modelling and manufacturing software. Despite the widespread use of their products amongst design en production companies, the brand-name has yet to become a household name. To improve the reputation of the brand, design office Fabrique in Delft was asked to design a innovative exhibition-stand on a major industry-fair in the Netherlands.
2006 Fabrique Product Graphic project
At Fabrique, I designed the graphics on several models of Giant bicycles for the BeNeLux market. The bikes are produced in Taiwan but are painted and finished for a more local market. We developed a colour-scheme for the whole range of bikes, designed the striping and lettering and made the decals. It was a really interesting experience as the whole process had to happen fast and went into production immediately.
2006 TU Delft Research Concept project *
This is my MSc graduation project at the Delft University of Technology for Amsterdam's Rijksmuseum, the national museum of art and history in the Netherlands. The outcome of this 8 months research and concept design project was the creation of a new relationship between the museum and it's visitors and a concept invoking new interaction. It is presented in a book, models and a movie showing the concept in the museum.
