Coinciding with the opening of the exhibition at the National Museum of China, I gave a lecture at the Beijing International Design Triennial symposium at Tsinghua University.
Together with Revital Cohen, I also gave a two day workshop at the Central Academy of Fine Art in Beijing. The workshop was titled 'The Composed Wild' and came into being with kind support of the British Council.

Pigeon d'Or will be exhibited at the Ars Electronica Festival in Linz, Austria from 31 August - 6 September.
Pigeon d'Or, Synthetic Immune System and Cook Me - Black Bile will be shown at the National Museum of China as part of the Beijing International Design Triennial, from 28 September - 25 October.
Synthetic Immune System and Cook Me - Black Bile will be exhibited at the Design Directors exhibition at Design Vlaanderen gallery in Brussels from 8 September - 3 October.
Pigeon d'Or will be exhibited at Recyclart in Brussels, from 30 September - 21 October.
I contributed an article to the latest Volume Magazine, discussing the new networks and ecologies that emerging biotechnologies might bring.
I am delighted to announce that Pigeon d'Or has won an Award of Distinction in the Hybrid Art category at Prix Ars Electronica. The project will be exhibited at Ars Electronica Festival in Linz, Austria from 31 August - 6 September 2011.
photo by Gunnar GreenPigeon d'Or is part of the Synth-ethic exhibition at the Natural History Museum in Vienna, Austria. Two new prototypes of the pigeon interfaces have been build to attach outside a window of the museum. The exhibition is curated by Jens Hauser and Markus Schmidt and runs from 14 May - 26 June. Cook Me - Black Bile and Synthetic Immune System are part of the exhibition "Human +" at the science gallery in Dublin. The exhibition is on from 15 April - 25 June, more information on their website.
